All is well

Losing my dad was one of the hardest things my family and I have ever had to endure, but through it all, we found solace in our faith and the belief that he was now in God's hands.

A week after his passing, we were greeted with a beautiful double rainbow in the sky, as if it was a sign from God that my dad was at peace and that all would be well. This inspired me to create "All is Well," an artwork that captures this sense of hope and comfort.

The warm, orange sky in the painting is reminiscent of the evenings my family and I spent together, admiring the sky from our high-rise apartment. It symbolizes the memories we cherish of our time with my dad.

As I worked on this painting, I couldn’t help but think of my dad and the techniques he taught me when I first started painting on canvas. He was my mentor, and his influence can be seen in the technique I used. In a way, this artwork is a tribute to him and the impact he had on my life.

Creating “All is Well” was a way for me to process my grief and find comfort in my faith and family. It’s a reminder that even in our darkest moments, there is always hope and beauty to be found.
